(1) If a judge dies due to an accident in the course of his official duties or is unable to work for life due to the same reason, an annual educational allowance of nine hundred rupees shall be given to each descendant of such deceased or disabled judge until he attains the age of eighteen years. will be given.

Explanation: For the purpose of this section, “descendant” means the children of a deceased or incapacitated judge.

(2) The offspring of a judge who died in the course of official duties and whose parents are not alive, sub-section In addition to the educational allowance as stated in (1), the child benefit will be given at the rate of seventy-five rupees per month.

(3) The child benefit according to sub-section (2) shall be received until the date of completion of twenty-one years of age or entry into government service, whichever is earlier.

(4) If a judge dies in the course of official work or if he becomes disabled for life, the Judicial Council shall make a recommendation to the Government of Nepal regarding the gratuity or gratuity to be received by him, his family or descendants.
